There were a whole bunch of Longo's at my parents house for Father's Day this weekend. At one point, my three nieces came up to me and asked about my show.
Oof.
I talked about sidewalk chalk and alleys, photographs and dance moves. They gave me maybe two minutes before totally calling me out.
"My mom says it's about you and Uncle [name redacted] fighting."
Double oof.
"You can talk about the fighting, you know."
"Yeah, we fight with our brothers all the time."
"And then we make up."
"Yeah, they're brothers."
And that's what's going to get me through this week.
