for happy hour.

friends letting
friends; you know where
the truth is headed
next.
you know what will
happen once
the truth you let
slip out the back door
gets behind the
wheel – you’ll just have to slip out
the back door
yourself, pedal
down to the corner,
slam a fifty on the bar
and bring the truth
home in your handlebar basket.
